Mexica-Arts founder, Emily J. Guerrero, is a storyteller and folk artist of Mexican indigenous ancestry.


Emily embodies her ancestral traditions. She encourages audiences to appreciate diverse cultures. Her performances, installation arts and workshops serve various age audiences.

 

Emily respectfully gives homage to the Miami, First Nation people, as she resides on Kekionga, their ancestral land, a.k.a. Fort Wayne, Indiana.
